Dear PPES Families:
Calvert County Public Schools is pleased to provide access to a new career development digital game for all of our elementary students.
ccSpark! is an age-appropriate digital learning program that helps your child explore early career development building blocks. For elementary grade students, early career learning is about acquiring essential life skills like understanding his or her unique strengths and interests, developing essential communication skills, and recognizing the importance of lifelong learning and skills training.
ccSpark! will help your child acquire goal setting skills, planning skills, and improved study habits leading to better grades and greater engagement with his or her education.
ccSpark! makes early career development FUN! In addition to games where students meet interesting characters, occupations and work places, My Profile is a virtual space that allows your child to record reflection and exploration results that he or she may return to and update at any time. Students will revisit and use elements of Career Cruising throughout middle school and high school, as well.
ccSpark! guides students to think about their potential and the career possibilities open to them.
Please visit the parent page on ccspark.com to learn more about how you can support your child’s early career development learning.
Please encourage your child to explore the ccSpark! website and complete game activities for at least 20 minutes each month. This can be accomplished at home or at school.
The username includes the uppercase letters CAL-, followed by your child’s lunch number. The password is your child’s numeric birthdate, including the two digit birth month, two digit birth day, and the four digit birth year.
